National Youth Day Advice by Swami Vivekananda
Swami Vivekananda was born on 12th January 1863 at Kolkata. He was living a simple life with high thinking. He was a great philosopher with great principals and devote personality. In just 39 years, 14th of which were in public life, he filled the country with a thought whose energy is still felt today. He has given speeches which is inspirational for all the youths. He was the inspiration behind national youth day. He fostered new enthusiasm for progress among the youths so much so that the whole country celebrates his birth anniversary as ‘National Youth Day’. Swami Vivekanand grew as the symbol of youth power who hoisted the flag of Indian culture overseas. Swami Vivekanand was very practical man who believed that the service to mankind should be selfless as service to mankind is service to god

- Talk to yourself once in a day otherwise you may miss meeting and excellent person in the world.
- Never be weak, you must be strong; you have infinite strength within you.

- See for the highest, aim at the highest and you shall reach the highest.
- Youth is the best time. The way in which you utilize this period will decide the nature of coming years that lie ahead of you.
- You cannot believe in God until you believe in yourself.
