Hello Friends ! We all are going through such a phase of life which will be remembered for many bad but few good things. I am sharing one of memorable experience which I had with my family. I had chance to stay in my hometown, Sawai Madhopur Rajasthan, for longer time during first half of 2021. Ranthambore Wildlife Reserve which is popular for Tiger sighting, is approx. 15 km away from my hometown. My parents planned a visit to wildlife reserve. I was very excited because this was my first visit to any wildlife reserve.

My father did necessary bookings and I was ready with my bag pack in early morning along with my younger brother and parents. I kept snacks, water bottle anda binocular in my bag. We reached to tourist office at 6 AM and a Gypsy was already booked for us. It is an open vehicle so we can enjoy bird and animal sighting. A tourist guide and a guard accompanied us in the wildlife reserve.

It was a pleasant morning. As soon as we entered in the wildlife reserve, we found us surrounded by dense forest. I was able to sight lot of birds and wild animals. Mainly, I saw deer species like swamp deer, gazelles, bluebuckand other wild animals like Indian fox, jackal, weasels, monkeys etc.When the vehicle was near to the lake in wildlife reserve, we sighted crocodiles, ducks and other aquatic animals. I enjoyed snacks with my family. We all were waiting for tiger sighting. When our vehicle was returning back, the guide heard some noise and he told us that there must be a tiger nearby. I used my binocular to see around and I was able to sight a tiger for few seconds which was other side of lake. After spending 4 hours in wildlife reserve, we returned back. Outer area of Ranthambore wildlife reserve has few famous monuments. I saw Ranthambore fort and famous Trinetra Ganesh temple.

This was a memorable time spent with family and I found myself so close to the nature.
